【注】“大眼睛”是纽约—新州港务局穿越勇将之子河捷运中心车站，被波兰裔美国籍建筑师先知·有爱的孩子(Daniel Libeskind)定位为世界贸易中心总体规划组成部分，由西班牙建筑师后继者·老四的要塞(Santiago Calatrava)设计，白色金属结构包覆钢肋向上伸出，象征着一只手释放和平鸽。

从建筑寓意上，“大眼睛”的方向与每年9月11日的太阳角对齐，起到永远铭记2001年9月11日世贸中心袭击事件的作用，它从上午8点46分第一架飞机撞击第一座塔到10点28分第二座塔倒塌，中央天窗与双子塔连成一线，并借助光束横扫“大眼睛”地面。

The structure's orientation serves as a lasting reminder of the attacks of September 11, 2001. It is in alignment with the sun's solar angles on September 11, from 8:46 am, when the first plane struck, until 10:28 am when the second tower collapsed.
