神的旨意就是要我們聖別

羅  1章2節 1:2 1這福音是神2從前借着祂的眾申言者，在3聖經上所應許的， 1章2節 注3 本書中的“聖”字，在希臘文里有：hagios（哈吉歐斯）、hagiosune（哈吉歐蘇內）、hagiazo（哈吉阿奏）、及hagiasmos（哈吉阿斯摩斯），都屬同字根，基本意義是分出，分別。哈吉歐斯，在2，五5，七12，九1，十一16，十四17，十五13、16譯為“聖；”在十二1，十六16譯為“聖別的；”在7，八27，十二13，十五25、26、31，十六15譯為“聖徒。”哈吉歐蘇內，在4節譯為“聖別的。”哈吉阿奏，是動詞，在十五16譯為“得以聖別。”哈吉阿斯摩斯，在六19、22譯為“聖別。”所以，“聖”意分出，分別（歸神）；“聖徒”意分出的人，分別（歸神）的人；“聖別”指聖別的性情和品質；“聖別”（歸神）是聖別所產生的實際果效、行動特點、以及終極情形。

請我們先禱告

主，你已經將你神聖的生命，加到我們受造、墮落、蒙救贖、並復活的人性里。你已經將我們彎曲的性情聖化，使我們像你在你聖別的性情里一樣。

人被造是為着（彰顯） 神，（創一26，）就這定旨而言，沒有一件事比淫亂更（破壞） 人。這使人無法聖別，分別歸神，並把人（污染） 到極點，使人不能完成神聖別的定旨。因此，使徒厲害的囑咐初得救的外邦信徒，要聖別歸神，（禁戒） 淫亂，（參帖前四3注2）

Man was made to (express) God (Gen. 1:26). Concerning this purpose, nothing (ruins) man more than fornication. This prevents man from being holy, separated unto God, and (contaminates) man to the uttermost in fulfilling God's holy purpose. Hence, the apostle strongly charged the newly converted Gentile believers to be sanctified unto God, to (abstain) from fornication.  (See 1 Thes. 4:3 note 2)
