4:1	这些事以后，我观看，看哪，天上有门¹开了，我初次所听见那如吹号的²声音，对我说，你上到这里来，我要将这些事以后必发生的事指示你。

神的计划是隐藏在天上的。当神在地上找着一个合祂心意的人时，天就向这人开启。天曾经向雅各、（创二八12～17、）以西结、（结一1、）耶稣、（太三16、）司提反（徒七56）和彼得（徒十11）开启过。在这里和十九11，天也向本书的作者约翰开启。在永世里，天也要向所有在基督里的信徒开启。（约一51。）本书是由四个主要的异象组成：(一)众召会的异象；（一～三；）(二)世界之定命的异象；（四～十六；）(三)大巴比伦的异象；（十七～二十；）(四)新耶路撒冷的异象。（二一～二二。）约翰是在灵里看见这四个异象，（10，四2，十七3，二一10，）正如弗三5所说，在灵里得着基督奥秘的启示。我们要看见本书的异象，也必须在灵里。这不仅是在我们心思里头脑的领会，乃是在我们灵里属灵的领略。

主，我们渴望经历你所分赐到我们里面一切的丰富，好叫你一切的丰富作成我们的成分，也成为我们外面的彰显。主，我们再次仰望你！

照二一11看，碧玉乃是“极贵的宝石，…明如水晶。”它必是（深绿色）的，表征丰盛的生命。这里的碧玉，就如二一11所指明的，表征神在祂丰富生命里可传输的（荣耀）。（约十七22，2。）碧玉是（神）显出的样子，也是（圣城）新耶路撒冷显出的样子。（参启四3注1）

According to 21:11, the jasper is "a most precious stone ... as clear as crystal." Its color must be (dark) (green), which signifies life in its richness. Jasper here, as indicated in 21:11, signifies God's communicable (glory) in His rich life (John 17:22, 2). (God)'s appearance is like jasper, as also the appearance of the (holy) (city), New Jerusalem. (See Rev. 4:3 note 1)
