Luciano Pavarotti,
without a doubt, was, and still is, known as the most famous opera
singers in the world, captivating huge audiances as he breaks their
heart with his rich voice. Pavarotti's career lasted from 1961 to 2007,
when he gave this last performance for the olympic winter games
ceremony. He received the longest standing ovation of any performance
that night.
The legendary singer was already very
sick when this was filmed, and died one year later. The look in his
eyes and the way he ends 46 years of singing, is sweet sweet sadness and
pure emotion. And you can feel it in every move he makes, every sound
he utters. This was a historic moment for all music lovers.
